Just holding this soft heart, you can feel your own blood pressure drop. The rhythm of the heart makes your breathing slow and steady and everything more calm. My 6 year old son received this a few days ago, and has rarely put it down. He likes to sit on the couch, clutching it to his chest, and he has the sweetest expression on his face. I can’t claim that he will stop fighting with his brothers or be a more attentive listener and do as he’s told more often, but those moments of calm and serenity are definitely worth it.
We often reach for an ice pack and/or bandaid to help soothe owies in our house, I think I will reach for the Little Beating Heart as well to help dry those tears.
